The ‘wood’ look is inspired by street fashion, incorporating urban colors and distinct design. Our cleanly styled garments and original art underscore the aesthetic.
(Sub)urban Background
Created in twenty-seventeen by two students, we took inspiration from the mix of urban and suburban cultures that we experience in the suburbs of New York City. Our color palette is inspired by the area that we live in: the bleak, off-white urban atmosphere juxtaposed with the deep blue ocean and the colorful landscape in between.
The Future
There are exciting things planned, like expanding our product types and varying the ways we make our clothing. Everything we do is iterative and is refined over time - that is how art and design works. A lot of respect and gratitude goes out to everyone that’s supported and followed us.
